The Shawn Sweeney Family Fund

The Shawn Sweeney Family Fund is dedicated to support the work of the PBMR Family Forward Ministry by providing material and financial support to programs, events and individual participants in times of need. While the fund focuses on safe housing, education, and basic needs support, it is also intended to be flexible and adaptable in order to meet emerging needs within the community.

The Shawn Sweeney Family Fund helps provide for women and families at PBMR

Basic Needs

Food: basic staples, emergency food
Clothing: uniform/work clothing, child clothing, winter coats
Home furnishings: furniture, basic kitchen needs
Child: Formula, diapers, books, holiday gifts.

Safe and Secure Housing

Rent: Assistance with rent and utilities
Housing Applications: Working one on one with families to assist with housing applications
Utility Assistance

Transportation

Reliable transportation to remove this barrier for people to get to work, medical appointments, school, childcare and court appearances.

Education & Health Resources

Help women realize their dreams for education, jobs, and career building through Case Management and Mentoring.

Emergency Assistance

For participants who experience short-term, unforeseen financial hardship or immediate expense. Examples of financial hardships are:

Rent assistance
Childcare
Emergency Housing Relocation
Unexpected Loss of Income
Funeral Assistance.

The Mother Brunner Family Center

This fund supports the operations of The Mother Brunner Family Center such as:

Hospitality: Offer radical hospitality to any woman and families in need of care.
Women Forward Programs: Dedicated to ensuring that women and family members have advocates through all of life's moments.
