The PBMR is a network of reconciliation ministries inspired by a spirituality of the Precious Blood.  Motivated by the belief that "those who were once far off have been brought near through the blood of Christ" (Eph. 2:13), we work as agents of reconciliation.

 

We are a prayerful presence and we provide a safe place in the Back of the Yards neighborhood of Chicago.

 

We recognize and reach out to those who are affected by violence.  Through restorative justice efforts, we accompany those who are harmed as well as those who are the cause of harm.  Through collaborative efforts, we seek reconciliation and peace. 

 

We bring healing and renewal to the Church through an outreach to groups and individuals who experience alienation within and with the Church.

 

We are a resource to others engaged in the ministry of reconciliation, within the Church and the world.
