Precious Blood Ministry of Reconciliation works closely with Kolbe House. Our director, David Kelly, also serves through Kolbe House as the chaplain at the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center, and several staff members volunteer in the Detention Center.

Kolbe House is the Prison Ministry for the Archdiocese of Chicago, following the Gospel mandate “I was in prison and you visited me” (Matthew 25:36) Kolbe House provides chaplains and volunteers to those incarcerated in Cook and Lake Counties. Located at Assumption Church, Kolbe House provides direct services, education and advocacy for all those who are now, have been or are likely to be detained or incarcerated in the correctional facilities of Cook and Lake County.
